A Brief History
Adriana Dupré, a French aristocrat in late 18th-century France, became a vampire. The Daughters of Lilith, a cult of female vampire assassins, forced her to join.
Adriana learned that Cytheria, the cult’s leader, had manipulated Adriana into killing her werewolf ancestors.
Further, Cytheria corrupted Adriana’s sister Dominique by turning her into a Daughter as well.
Adriana broke from the Daughters, swearing to destroy them all while fighting to save her sister.
Adriana prefers to remain isolated from the events of the Shadowdance, but will soon realize the impossibility of her independence from the Dance.
