had more thoughts on The Godfather, Part III, and The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone. Like to hear them hear them go. Not safe for work, BTW.

Not much else to add besides what I have in this bonus episode.
I did this one partly because of the extra info that would have made the main episode about The Godfather, Part III, and The Godfather Coda (Episode Twelve) too long. Remember; I wanna keep the episodes around fifteen minutes — though they usually run about seventeen.
Well, that’s fifteen minutes of info, with filler from the opening and closing. So there!
But I did have a bunch of other things to say. Getting that interview with Robert Duvall up was a biggie.
There’s another interview with him from the 21st century in which Duvall mentions writer/ director Francis Ford Coppola coming to see him. They had pie or something. Coppola loved the pie and wanted the recipe. They barely talked about Godfather, Part III.
Coppola called back later, interested in the recipe but not the movie. Duvall let it all slide and didn’t end up in the movie.
I also mistakenly refer to Duvall as Hagen, the character. In the video, I acknowledge it but let it slide for the audio-only podcasts. Let’s see who catches it.
