A cover reveal on an odd date?
August 15th sounds kinda arbitrary to do a cover reveal. But that’s my dad’s birthday. He passed back in 2021. Dealing with the grief of that life-altering event put “Two Sisters” on hold for many months.
I eventually got back to it, as Dad wouldn’t have wanted me to give up the dream of furthering my writing career. His death also helped me better understand my Safia Edris character.
As I say in the book’s dedication, Dad gave me in life and in death made this book stronger than it ever could have been.
